Looking for a carrying case for a Sinclair new model varmint rest . I want something that captures it so it won't move around in it. Who has found what and where? I possibly could put an insert in it that uses the feet to secure it from moving around and put styrofoam to help protect it while transporting to and from the range. thanks Drop

I had the same need when I purchased my Sinclair rest. I purchased a Pelican Storm case and lid organizer from B&H Photo. Sorry can't remember the item number. I installed a 1/2 inch plywood bottom in it and used threaded inserts from the bottom to attach the rest using the feet leveling screws. This setup has been all over the U.S. in the last several years and the rest still looks brand new. It's pricey but well worth the investment. See pictures attached and if you have any question or need additional pictures feel free to contact me. Stan

Very nice and it also leaves some room for other things.

Russel..............If you got any connection with a sheet metal worker, you might get one in the shape of the rest made out of aluminum. I made mine out of 1/4" plywood but due to the weight of my rest with an added steel base, aluminum would be the way to go. On the other hand, your rest is probably no where near as heavy as mine so the plywood might be OK? image url upload

This is where I think I am headed. Probably use 1/2" plywood. As I can do all that myself. I want to keep it the correct shape and size. So I won't have a tendency to overload it. LikemImtend to on my range boxes . In one the rest and accessories and bags gets heavy to handle . drop

Probably can't beat this for the price, if it is still $85 bucks.
