Yes, I use a Lee hand priming tool and the holder for the 45-70.

I forgot that I started using the RCBS table mount one. I clamp it to a table(mounted on a board)and I like the feel it gives me.

Helpful hint: Verify that your primer is flat and seated flush to the module. Do this by setting it upside down on something flat. If there’s any wobble - reseat it deeper. A primer that is sticking up can make the bolt harder to close. Easy to close and hard to close can mean differences in impacts from shot to shot. This also happens on centerfire cartridges and it will do the same on your muzzy. Consistency.

Thanks for the tip...you guys have been a tremendous help in getting this rifle set up...still awaiting the arrival of a few things but once it does and we get the base and scope mounted I will determine the minimum powder capacity for the N120 we have on hand and we can start load development...I want to stay on the light side of things with this break action...2400-2600 fps range..it doesnt take much to kill a deer..this rifle will primarily be a woods gun with the occasional 200-250 yd shot..

For primer removal I use my 7 mag resizing die, extend the depriming stem out and it will push out the primer to re prime I have a RCBS universal hand held priming tool, note on the removal I purchased a # 14 shell holder for the 45/70 on the 308 style I use another shell holder #3

I use a socket and a punch to remove the primers and use the Les hand press with 45/70 shell holder

This is the module holder he makes for priming, Is this what you have? It fits in your press in place of the shell holder.

Sorry Tar I showed you the one for DI, not H.I.S.
You will need a 45-70 shell holder

For those interested in the difference between Full form and smooth form. I just sized about 30- 300 aeromax bullets for my pistol bore gun, took about 5 times longer than smooth sizing. Ran thru the die 3 times having to index each time and then pushed each one down the bore to check fit.
I will shoot that gun at the Spring Challenge, it will be interesting IF the .442-.450 bore will shoot with the other .45s there.

I tried one time to size a 45xtp with a drop section of barrel. In my rock chucker press, I thought I was going to break my bench trying to push that thing thru. No way was I goin to try it on 22"-24 barrel. I was using a piece of.452 pistol barrel.

I size full form with a Redding Ultra Mag, by far the best heavy duty press I have used for the really tough stuff, even with it some bullets are still a hand full to get thru the die.
