Looking for any real world experience with The Bergara BMR 22 (steel version).
Just been offered one, and looking for experiences good or bad.
Haven't really seen anything on the 'tube that would sway me either way. I'll loook it over (and preferably shoot it if I get the chance). Just curious if any of you have had any trigger time with one...
Thanks! gd

I bought one a couple of months ago and I have to say after finding what it wanted to shoot it shoots very well. Nice trigger and very accurate. I don't think you will be disappointed.

Glad to hear it. Really appreciate the feedback! Decided to pull the trigger, so I'll see how it does. Seems to be really well built, and the stock was a pleasant surprise. The only thing questionable so far was the 30 MOA rail? Seems a bit excessive for a .22, but should be able to make it work. gd

I have a 20 MOA rail on my B14R and a 30 MOA rail on my CZ 457 with no issues.

Keep in mind that .22s, even the good ones are VERY picky about what you feed them. Try as many different lots of good ammo as you can and when you find what it shoots well buy as much of that lot as you can afford.
I have several friends with high end guns that constantly chase their tail trying to find and keep enough good ammo for their guns, I am about to go down that same road when my Voodoo finishes eating what I have on hand.
