Is there a tool out there to help insert the HIS modules into my Rem 700 bolt head? I have really wide fingers and its a pain in the ass. I find it easier to just pull the bolt each time but would like to not have too.

Clever! Didn’t even think to make something but it’s worth a try.

I made one out of a piece of aluminum bar stock with a hole on each end. One hole was used to insert the module on the bolt face and the other hole was used to tie a lanyard to.

A little back story to the mother of all inventions on the little tool module. I sold an SML to a good buddy of mine and he called me and said that he was having issues installing modules on the Remington action bolt face. After explaining to him how easy it was to do over the phone. I was thinking how hard could it be?? I even asked my wife if she could do it, after about 30 seconds of instruction, she could do it without issues. I even did a video of her demonstrating how to do it and sent it to him and he still couldn’t do it. Then he sent me a picture of his finger…..and the tool was made.

hahaha, I've got big fat fingers myself and I can usually git-er-done, now typing on a phone key-pad is a different story haha
