Got a CVA scout converted by Hankins, sighted in a few weeks back and shot extremely well, .625 inch group at 100. Problem was I forgot a chrono and have not figured out my speed, leaving for a hunting trip next week and don’t know if I’ll have a chance to acquire a chrono and also get back to range. Just wondering if anyone was shooting a similar load and had a ballpark average speed. I’m shouting 303g Pittman aeromax, with 60g of IMR 4198.

The 275 grain bullets with 65 grains of IMR 4198 will produce 2650-2700 FPS, so I would guess your combination is right around the 2500 FPS mark.

Difference in speed from my blued/blk scout is about 10fps between a 275 and 300gr bullets, same point of impact @100 and 50 yds. I am using DI and 51.3gr 4227 powder a tad over 2400fps with both bullets which is no speed demon but way more than I need for where I hunt.

In my Scout V2 using a DI plug, 300 AeroMax, large Federal primers and 62.5 grains of H4198, I was getting 2546 FPS (3 shot average with a LabRad).
My dope was 100 - zero 200 - 1.75 MOA 300 - 6.0 MOA 400 - 9.75 MOA Dope was taken on a hot August day with the temps in 80’s degree range with 79% humidity.
I would not use this information for anything other than just information that was shot out of my gun. Take the time and do your own load development and collect your own dope for all your hunting shots.
