I always use a Hanks cleaning tube on my rifle while cleaning. Today after cleaning my rifle I got out my bore scope to check the barrel And could not happen to notice that with the cleaning tube inserted and threaded in all they way that there was still some threads exposed? Is this normal? I just got a bore scope and noticed this. The cleaning tube is definitely bottomed out. Any feedback would be great. I will add that I have no issues screwing in my breech plug.

Yes that would be normal. The cleaning tube is an exact replica of the breech plug. Your barrel will have a small powder chamber in it and the tap has a 3-5 thread lead, so you must tap the hole 3-5 threads past where you want full thread for the plug. I always go 5-7 threads to make sure the plug will tighten up on the shoulder and not bottom out in the threads. What you are seeing is perfectly normal.
