Good day, Can anyone help me with a torque value suggestion for the two action screws holding a Kimber Model .22 HS into its aluminum pillar bedded wood stock? I phoned Kimber and spoke with a customer service person who, after a few moments on hold to check, told me 65 inch/pounds. This sounds high based on other rifles specs from the internet. The rifle has been out of manufacture for maybe 20 years.
I also am interested in adjusting the trigger. It has the usual three screw adjustments. I've never adjusted a trigger, is it hard to do? Does anyone have any written procedure/instructions for adjusting a trigger of this type. The manual says it is fully adjustable, but offers no instruction except to leave it in the hands of someone who knows how to make the adjustments. It's pulling 2.375 pounds factory adjusted and I've read it can be safely adjusted down to 1 or 1.5 pounds.
Thanks for any information offered.

I have found You Tube to be useful for "how to". Just be careful, I have also found some You Tubers to be as messed up as a football bat!

Thank you, sir. Yes, I have learned a great deal from watching YouTube videos. Wish there was an internet when I was in school, I'd be a lot smarter! haha
