My boy Luke scored a nice doe on our youth season opener. He is a heck of a shot, and put it in the ten ring at a whopping 40yds. Lol. He was using a 243win I handload for. I got it really cranking along with the 85gr Sierra hp. Deer ran about 50yds, spraying a great trail for him to follow. We were eating breakfast by 9:30am. Got her broke down and in the freezer now.
