Big Deer. Both of these deer were taken in counties that adjoin my farm. The one in the truck I do not know the size or details. The other was taken with a bow on his farm in November 2015. He said it scored 202 green. The odds of me getting larger deer is going down, I think there must be 12-15 elevated/enclosed deer stands within one mile of my place. Less chance for them to grow old. If you click on the photos I think you can enlarge them. Attachments:

Generally pretty good deer. In this area a great deal of food source. Also until recently a shotgun only gun season for the most part, now some limited straight wall centerfire cartridges and no gun season until after the main rut. Gives them at least an opportunity to grow. The smart ones do anyways I guess. I have found some sheds I wish I would have found attached to the buck.

Jims, I used to see bucks like that here in n.y., taken a few where I live, we have all agriculture fields behind my house, rotating crops every year, corn, soy beans, beans, alfalfa, etc, etc, poachers took many, coytoes, and car collisons took some, the ones left here are so nocturnol you rarely see them.. same here on the sheds..

Kind of between Lima and Dayton. The biggest was near Bellefontaine, the other in Darke County, the county seat is Greenville.
