Picked up a used Mossburg 935 Turkey gun with pistol grip stock. Looking forward to setting it up for turkey season. Came with stock Turkey choke will see how it shoots. Will be putting some type optics on it but haven't decided yet. Gun comes up and handles very nice.

Turkey season is getting close. Most of the guys i know shooting 835’s & 935’s always shoot great patterns but they complain about the recoil. I get too excited to even know the gun fires. Good luck with ur new gun. Let us know how it shoots.

Hi! I also own Mossberg 935 and I am looking for optics now - did you get a chance to enhance your firearm with a scope or red dot?

Have got to play with a few turkey guns. I would definitely get several different chokes, and see what works with that gun. For whatever reason, there seems to be a large disparity between individual shotguns (imagine that) and each one is a pain to find THE choke tube that patterns. It ain't easy on the wallet, but if you want to kill birds at extended range, that's the recipe.

Over the years Iv"e had about a dozen different Turkey guns and would hate to Think how many chokes and Turkey loads I have fired, most of them before the internet age. You can find others on line that have the same gun and they can point you in the right direction as far as what generally works good with that gun BUT as we all know guns are individuals just as we are and like things slightly different. God luck on your quest!
