I voted: 8, 9, 10 are best for me with a West Virginia turkey hunt commencing April 18.

Anybody bring their hunting rig to shoot in the Spring Challenge?

I brought my CVA 45-70 conversion last spring. Shultz has my newest hunting rig. I don't think it's gonna be ready in time.

I’ll be bring Monroe to compete in the Spring Challenge but was also wanting to bring my hunting rig. Anybody bring their hunting rig to shoot in the Spring Challenge? All I have are two hunting guns, but I'm excited looking forward to shooting my newly re-stocked Hankins SPML-45. Also having a muzzle-brake and Jewel Trigger installed. My mission is to learn how to shoot this rifle again including heavier Pittman Aeromax 328's and 105 grain loads of IMR 4895. Looking forward to the event. My second rifle, I'll bring it, is a nice little tack-driving Hankins modified CVA Apex with Bergara barrel out of which I shoot Hornady FTX 250's propelled with 65 grains of IMR 4198. After I started shooting this little break-open, Pittman came out with the 250 weight Accumax and I have yet to try these. The gun launches the very inexpensive FTX's so accurately that I'm not sure it makes sense to shoot the Pittman bullet? Anybody have any bullet comparison experience with the Pittman Accumax 250? Does it shoot more accurately than another brand? Just curious. Thanks.
