I posted this on Doug's, just my opinion.
I watched and read for a along time on this forum before posting anything until I thought my experience may help somebody else. I have a DaveD centerfire plug in a Savage action, a Savage 10ML2 stock 50 cal, a 10ML2 45 conversion, and a Savage PTA with Hankins barreled (still getting the stock built). That being said EVERYONE I have PM’d, posted, Email’d, or asked for an opinion or advice has been very helpful, and the years of experience people have I have benefited from is appreciated. I am a member on both boards, and other places, to get as much information as I can and find what works the best for me.
There has been a lot of discussion on who is on who’s band wagon, who builds the best rifle, who has the best ignition system, and now it looks like that may spill over into who builds the best bullet. It is difficult a lot of times to tell the tone of what someone intended from just the written words when you don’t have the personal interaction of a real conversation. For some reason it seems like things get very personal very quickly, it’s not called for, it’s disappointing and everybody probably owns a piece of it, directly or indirectly. It has probably turned some people away that started out just like I did, just observing what is posted. Just because somebody has something different or prefers one over the other does not mean that one is better, just different, and it is what you like or meets your personal needs. Dissenting opinions, when kept respectful, usually lead to something better in the end that we can all benefit from.
As sportsman, shooters, hunters, builders, or whatever you are we should really be worried about the current state of affairs in this country and the threats we face as gun owners and sportsmen. Examples: No lead bullets in CA, no smokeless powder in a MZ in NJ, banning the import of legally hunted animals into your state or country like no Mt. Lion into CA even if hunted in another state or Canada, and the list goes on. We should not be naive and think the Anti’s don’t lurk our boards and use what we post against us, whether it is here, Hank’s, Archery Talk, Long Range Hunting, the NRA website, or wherever you are a member.

Good point kbrezlin, friendly fire can kill you! You forgot to mention the California condors which will eventually force Arizona, where I live, to ban lead as well. The condors along with wolves in Arizona are facing an uphill battle, as the environment in which they lived in years ago just does not exist. I think were up to a million bucks per wolf, cost to reintroduce them. Six plus million residents in Arizona going to make it hard for a wolf to find a home, were facing another housing shortage as well! 100,000 new residents to Arizona in 2015. If Iam sounding old, its because Iam, and Iam getting grouchy as well, Ray

We probably do as much or more than any other entity to protect and preserve our natural resources. Steve

Wolves are a sore subject here in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. They kill more deer than hunters do. In Wisconsin there have been two attacks on humans in 2015. Wolves were killed off for a reason but now some tree hugging Federal judge from the north east has decided she knows better than what residents do. Antis are attracting from every front to destroy our traditions.
Toby Bridges has the right idea for the out of control wolf population. I commend him for his anti wolf blog.

Informative read: lobowatch.com/ Click on "Reintroduction" There are places where this imported subspecies is decimating the elk populations. This is NOT the wolf with which our forefathers contended! It's much worse! As for the bickering, I've learned to stay as neutral as possible. Let this board go its way and the other go theirs. We now have two boards from which to learn and give input. That which is not allowed there is allowed here. I would bet that some enemies of this board are racking their brains trying to figure out how to get their hands on Kyle's new bullets!

I, for one, would not take that bet, don't have any extra $$$ floating around that I'd surely loose! Maybe they are rounding up some incognito "Salesmen" to send to Kyle's new site

But based on the actions the actions of a few over there, the "manning up" part ain't gonna happen. Not trying to be too negative, just giving back some of the unjust "love" I received over there, for those who may peek in here.
Wishing only the best for Kyle and his new venture.

I think everyone here will find that we WILL be civil with no pee pee contest's and If one ever cranks up its our job to stop it in a hurry, That sir's WILL happen, guaranteed.
Kbrezlin was correct with what he said, when things get personal people get tired of hearing the attacks that ensue, we need to make sure that doesn't happen here.
I would like to ask all members here to refrain from going to the other board and stirring the pot, I have made myself a promise to be happy here and not venture over there, I did recently to set some things straight and nothing good came of it, in hind sight I should have kept my fingers off the keyboard. If others want to jump the fence as some are calling it, that's fine and dandy, you won't be looked down upon for doing so. I think we have a great thing started here and it will continue to grow as more guys hear about it. I think Jeff and the other mods will agree.
As Beans told me in a PM, take the high road, we will always be glad we did.
For the new guys here, you might be shy about asking simple questions, Don't be. the only dumb question is the one you never ask. Simple questions keep you in the safe zone and help us all learn. We are all learning, Jeff included, he will be the first to tell you that.
As far as Kyle's OR Keith's bullets go I think its great that we have more choices, I wish them both well in their new ventures, Im sure they will both sell to whoever wants to try them and both will stay plenty busy filling orders. Who's is better? that's like asking 6 people which is the best ice cream, we will find that we all prefer something different.
We are off to a great start for 2016, I look forward to the new year and the progress that it brings...Shoot Straight!

Admitting to the problem is the first step to redemption. LOL

I still jump fences, not as well as I once did but I can still get it done . I reread my post and it might have sounded a little harsh, it wasn't intended to be, we can all state our views without getting off kilter, I was just making an Observation
