I'd like to thank everyone that was involved in the range and field testing of my Pittman Bullet AccuMax .452". The response has been overwhelming to say the least. A special thank you to Jeff Hankins for a ton of help on the design and prototyping of the bullet and field testing as well. A special thanks to Mindy for lunches in the shop and putting up with this hillbilly. Another special thanks goes out to Bill Travis who worked all day, sighted his gun in in the dark with a flashlight and then drove all night to Kentucky to be a part of the cornfield herd thinning hunt. Deadeye Don, thanks for your successful hunts and range session and sharing that with us. Speedrackin, you know where to put the bullet to put a deer down quick, up there in New York I know that is important. Eric Hann, the soybean bucks don't stand a chance next year, congratulations on your big doe and tight group at the range. Deadeye, I know your gun likes heavier bullets, but you shot those 275's very well! We'll find out soon enough how my 325's do in your gun. Richard, you are the king of session recording no doubt! I appreciate your honest review. Mike, thanks for the great camera work in the shooting house. And last but not least, Lapua, thanks for tracking up the 402 and 433 yard does! Some beggin strips in it for you on my next trip to Kentucky!
Thanks Everyone!!!, Kyle

Kyle: I haven't been on line lately so it is a very pleasant surprise to see your new bullets. I'll certainly test them too. I like the fact that you have a good selection of weights. I'll order the 300 and 325. Do you have any idea of the BC of your 300 gr bullet as compared to the MH or ASG 300 gr? I don't have a 300 gr package, but I notice that the 310 gr ASG says it has a "GI BC" of .400. The 335 gr ASG says it has a "GI BC" of.454. Real World BC calculation will be a work in progress with testing in that respect toward the end of the month, weather permitting. My emphasis is on offering a gyroscopically stable long-range hunting and target bullet. I feel that in order to accomplish this with a lead core jacketed bullet there can be no air voids. My design incorporates no air voids and therefore a higher sectional density and a smaller package traveling through the air with the same weight. I have the 300's and 325's reserved for you on my list. Thanks Phil!

First off thanks for developing another bullet for the smokeless shooters. The videos were great with those big thumpers.
I have a RemPac 45. I shoot duplex loads 10/60 Clays/ H-4198 Will this load be enough to swell the 275 Accumax enough to give me good accuracy?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

I'm not a duplex shooter, but I believe if you fit them snug to the bore you will be fine. Richard on the board may have more insight on this topic. Where are you Richard? Thank You, Kyle Pitman www.pittmanbullets.com

Hawg... I think you'll be good to go with any bullet shooting the 10/60 combo. I shoot 7/60 Clays/4198 and have shot about every bullet with good success. I've pretty much decided on the all copper Barnes TEZ's as my go to bullet.Either the 250's or the 290's.Don't have any trouble with obturation with them. Smooth sizing. Zen

I realize the .40 would be less used but I would like some for my .40 PacNor if that ever becomes an option in the future. The 200 SSTs are just too loose sabotless. I appreciate the time, effort, testing and expense to put together a new bullet especially for a somewhat limited number of users. It is not like a .223 that are used by the rail car load. Thanks again for giving us some choices.

Had a 600 yard match today so just got on Kyle! My thought might be that with a tighter fit, the single powder charge might build the necessary pressure for good accuracy in my ignition set up. If I can get my hands on a .035" bushing it might be the ticket for the single powder load. But then duplexing also severs another purpose and that being very positive ignition is cold weather.

I know many have moved to sabotless including me (mostly) but ive longed for a 40cal around 240gr-260gr in a cup and core design.
