Has anyone used N-110 as a single powder with a .035 Bushing in your BP?
I was just wondering if there may be any issue with the N-110 getting through the bushing.
Thanks, YB

I use .030 bushings with no problems, but do recall when using vent liners, by the time they got worn to .035 some granules (2 or 3) would fall through. These would be granules falling length-way down the barrel that would go through the vent prior to those falling cross-way would "dam" the end of the vent. To keep them from falling into the action, I would leave the spent primer in from the last load and remove/replace it after the new load was in place. I use N110 as a primer in a duplex and those 2 or 3 granules made no difference in accuracy.

Thanks Danno, appreciate the info.
The reason I'm asking is because Jeff is in the process of doing an Apex conversion for me and I wasn't sure if I should go with a .030 or .040 bushing, and we met in the middle settled on a .035.
Some loads I want to try with the gun will be using N110 & 195 Barnes, and I've recently saw where someone had measured some N110 and said the diameter is around .028" & the length varies, (.035-.055") approximately.
So that got me wondering if I may have been better off ordering it with the .030 bushing instead of the .035.
Thanks,
YB

All I can say is that N110 has been reliably setting off the duplex charges down to 14*F with the .030 bushing. If the N110 didn't get ignited, neither would the 3031. As long as the 195bx is a tight fit, I cannot see the .030 bushing being a problem.

I agree with dannoboone 100%. I have about 100 shots thru my Sav-Pac .45 with Lukes plug and a .030 bushing and all have been straight loads of n110. I've been so pleased with the load I haven't considered trying other powders. This is with sabots.

I may try the .40 200 gr. SST also just to see how they work out.
Appreciate the info.

That is what I like about it is couple inches high at 100 and you are good to 200 with the same point of aim.
