 I just wanted to say Thank You to Jeff. I sent him a Match Grade Machine 45-70 Govt barrel for my TC Pro Hunter to convert with his HIS system. The turn around was quick. The price was fair and the workmanship was Quality. That's hard to find these days. The first trip to the range put a smile on my face. I had some imr 4198 and 3031. I also had some 275 and 300 grain pitmans. I thought I would start out with 60 grains of 4198 and a 275 grain bullet. I was just looking to work up a hunting load. muzzle loader season was just about to open. My first 3 shot group was 2 in the same hole and a third almost touching that hole. I was very impressed. I shot 2 more groups to confirm my zero, all groups were 3/4 inch or less at 100 yds. I was done. That was my load. No need to shoot any more. Opening day of muzzle loader I shot a fat mature doe at just under 100 yds. Put it on her shoulder and she dropped in her tracks. Never even took a step. I'm a happy camper. love the new muzzle loader. It may not be a Big Buck but that's ok. Meat in the freezer. |

Congrats! Yes Jeff's work is superb. He did another Scout barrel for me on Saturday! From my door to his door and back 6 days with weekend!
