For those of you that shoot blackthorn 209 in their SML's. Due to the blackthorn being a little more corrosive than smokeless how often do you clean the barrel and what is the process?

I thoroughly clean my blackhorn fired rifle before it goes back in gun safe after every outing that gun gets fired.
Between shots i swab one damp hoppes9 patch and then2 dry patches. For storage i clean everything with hoppes9 and brakleen then light coat all parts with lucas gun oil.
Before loading stored rifle i dry patch once then fire 2 primers then 1 damp hoppes9 and 2 dry patches.
Im sure this probably seems excessive but im all about consistency and repeatability.

I hunt with a clean rifle. And every shot i take is with a clean bore. If i need a followup shot i add 1 moa which is what my gun changes from clean to fouled. If gun is loaded to hunt and isn't fired i store gun in garage to allow it to heat and cool with outside temps and continue to hunt that load. For any reason i question load due to high humidity or rain. I pull plug push out load and reload with fresh components. Save powder ,wad and bullet for practice at range. I reload alot thru the season but haven't had a misfire either..
