So I have finally put together my 45 smokeless build. I have sized a few 275 gr BEs, and ran some 275 gr match hunters through same die. The BEs fit barrel perfect but the match hunters need to be sized down further. Is this normal? Each type of bullet have its own sweet spot for proper fit in muzzle? Thanks for any help

Yes, your experience is totally normal. Different jacket thicknesses require different settings. Every different type bullet requires a different sizing setting.

I did run each bullet through 3 times. The BEs will slide right in with a little pressure. The match hunters will not start in at the current die setting. Just wanted to make sure this was normal. Thanks

I have shot 275BE, 250XTP, 300XTP, 250 BARNES AND 275 BARNES. Each requires a different setting. This is in a Brux barrel.

Thanks for any help This is normal as many has stated. If your going to use different bullets then buy a die for each bullet manufacturer and label it accordingly.

You will settle on a specific bullet after you shoot it some, especially if you have only 1 die, it's a pain to keep changing the die for different bullets.
