Purchased a Brux 45 #17 contour with Mesa action from Jeff. I have a 4198 powder but also have a few lbs of 4895, and 4350. Just wondering if anyone had any load data with these 2 powder choices. Thanks

Assuming a 28” barrel and HIS ignition with the action and barrel you mention:
105gr of H4895 with a 325 Aeromax will be about 3100fps 105gr of H4895 with a 300 Aeromax will be about 3175 maybe a little more 78gr of IMR 4198 with a 275 AccuMax will be about 3005 74gr of IMR 4198 with a 300 Aeromax will be about 2875 73gr of IMR 4198 with a 325 Aeromax will be about 2785
In my opinion H4895 is too slow for 275 grain bullets.

4350 does not fill the bill for what you are shooting. Maybe the 350 grain bullets out of a super long very fat barrel. Its just too slow.

Kyles numbers seem pretty close on velocity every gun is a little different. You really don't need the highest velocity possible. You want the most consistent accuracy load you can work up for your rifle. I have never tested a 350 gr bullet the 300gr and 325gr have shot equally well out to 1,000 yards with several different powders the most consistent accuracy came in below 3,000 fps I will say that again the most accurate loads came in below 3,000 fps. I ran tested up to 3200fps with poor results. I think the most accurate load for velocities above 3,000 fps H4895 with 105grs is the accuracy load with both the 300 and 325gr bullet. I have tested 10X IMR 3031 IMR 4166 H4895 and Varget there are a few others that would probably work as well.
For personal hunting powder I like 10x it is not as temp sensitive or loading pressure sensitive as some of the others. IMR 3031 shot very well but I saw 80fps velocity drops in cold weather the others were much better I know 10x will go off at -15 below with a gun loaded for 3 days so that's why I like using it also IMR 4198 is really hard to beat for a all around powder.
