Just purchased Hankins Encore build looking for acceptable load data for 350 grain Pittman bullets. Including for starting weight of which powders would be ok 😊

That is a mighty heavy bullet for a .45 Encore. Which ignition system? HIS with modules or direct ignition with screw in modules?

Not sure I would want to shot a 350 grain bullet out of any break action.
I definitely would shoot a 300 grain bullet all day long but never a 350.
That just my opinion tho.....

Just curious as to why you think you need to shoot the 350? What is your intended quarry? That’s a lot of bullet for any North American game.

I shoot 325’s in a Hunter with the 1-20 twist I didn’t think would stabilize the 350’s

Thanks guys I was thinking I might be able to shoot same bullets two entirely different builds . I believe I will try to get some additional bullets from Kyle in different weight for Encore barrel

I got an encore build from Jeff this spring. He suggested 275 grain pittman accumax with 65 grains of H4198. That has been working for me so far, but I'm just starting.

Definitely scrub those 350's! Think Pittman 250's and 275's!
