About 8-10 shots and bullets get really hard to push down . At 65 gr. no problems with 275 Pittmans or 300 XTPs. Both shoot great !

I recently built a savage nut gun on a large shank action and while it shoots pretty much every load with imr 4198 very good at 100 yards, I noticed that it likes hotter charges at longer yardages. I played with my load while shooting at 300-500 yards and ended up finding that my gun really likes 68-70 grains with 275's. The lighter loads just didn't group as good for me at those distances. Just food for thought if you like tinkering. Good looking rig and good shooting!

No I have not. It's pretty docile with the brake so I'm gonna stick to the 70 grain charge. I really would like to get a speed with this setup but my magneto speed is apparently broken. Guess I will be saving for a lab radar
