Anyone running 322? A friend told me he is getting 600 yard groups from this gun that are sub 3” with it and 300 Aero? If I can come up with a can I may try it, but 4198 is gonna be tough to beat! Richard, do you have experience with 322?

The wifey is getting 2850fps with her 30" tube and 80gr or H322 and a 300gr pill. She has no trouble banging steel out to 685 with that load.

I think, at the time, I found it a little dirty and stopped playing with it. Will have to revisit it with the new barrel.

I am also shooting 80 grains of 322 with 300 gr bullets out of a 28" Brux and my accuracy is unbelievable. Cold bore shoots in the same group as warm barrel also. It's a keeper

I'm curious. What is a max load of H322 for a #6 contour?

Can 80 grains of H322 be used with 325 bullets instead of the 300?

Can 80 grains of H322 be used with 325 bullets instead of the 300? I started off with that combo. I have shot some great groups with it. Just make sure your rig can handle it. I am now on the 300gr pill and H4895 wagon.

Remember, you generally go down in powder grains when the weight of the bullet goes up! Of course if the load is way low to start with, then you could go up. In the case above, rackfreak210 was shooting 80 gr. of 322 with a 300 grain bullet. Going to a 325 grain bullet with the same charge will increase pressure. (you can always go down in bullet weight with the same charge, but going up? Maybe not so much!) In a stout barrel, it might be ok? The game we play with these SML's is basically flying by the seat of our pants. We rely on GOOD SOLID information from experienced shooters who post their equipment spec's. I shoot a Brux barrel that is 1.3" for six inches and then a straight taper to one inch with direct ignition. There are a few with even fatter barrels and then some with thinner ones? These facts have to be taken into consideration in determining what combination you can and should not shoot. You are then responsible for your own actions.

I should have stated that my barrel is 1.25x5 in my post.

Odd-ball here. I'm using 60gr H322 over 5gr GD with a 250gr copper bullet in a 1.06 for 5" barrel. It's accurate and seems to have a complete burn.
