This is the 3rd year of pics for him. Son missed him last year with crossbow and some friends missed him across town with a rifle. Yep he’s a traveler right through our large metropolis😂. Maybe we will be able to tag him in velvet in a few weeks!

Well a friend/neighbor got him on the opening morning of velvet hunt with a crossbow at 20 yds about 250 yds from me. We will close the “album” on this one and look for the next one!

Sorry to hear you didn't get a crack at him. I know what it's like to see a deer for a few years and have him get killed. Not fun Hope you can track down another big one.  |

At least he was harvested by a hunter! It beats a car, coyotes, disease, etc any day!

Well here’s the confirmation….. He said that the taxidermist would measure it but only guessed 130s which surprises me. The neighbor didn’t take time to measure it since it was so hot and took it straight to the taxidermist. Velvet hunts around here are tough when daytime highs can reach 90 in late August depending on the weather pattern. Attachments:

Don’t know what he’ll score, but I guess his inside spread at about 15-16”.
