Target one has the lowest score but it was the second highest score shot in the relay so it gave me more points for that relay the group 5.9 for 10 shots target #2 was a 99 score and a 5.3 group target #3 is a 99 score this is the one that cost me two gun overall first place number 10 came in low because of poor gun handling on my part I believe I stopped the recoil of the gun .#4 is a 98 score and a 6.8 inch group which won the relay for group and score. Both light heavy guns are 6mm Dashers I used 103gr Vapor Trail bullets in both guns for the two days of competition Both guns are capable of shooting into the 3 inch area under the right conditions it is very hard to get the vertical out of groups the slightest head wind or tail wind change will wreck your groups in a heart beat.

I am on the target committee and we measured over 300 targets for the two days of shooting and I can tell you first hand their are some really accurate rifles out there and many competitors had heart breaking one or two shots that wrecked their groups. Our range record for light gun is 3.126 and it could have been broken this past weekend. We did have two groups shot in the low 3 inch range that is amazing to see.
So you need a super accurate rifle you need the best bullets and the most accurate 10 shells you can possibly load then you need the right relay that the conditions hold just long enough to send 10 bullets down range to shoot that record group so there is a certain degree of luck involved in shooting record groups. With todays equipment and some experience shooting 1,000 yard benchrest a light gun should be able to go into the 5 inch range with not a lot of trouble but going into the 4,3 or 2 inch range is a whole different world. When you see that kind of performance it makes you work harder to get your guns to shoot better.
