Has anyone on these boards tried Alliant steel powder in their ml 2?

Tried looking it up but suspect it is a flake powder? Might be good for a booster in a duplex load? Problem is, there are not many ML 2 users here anymore. Those that do, have tried and true loads with powders like N110, N120, 4198, Re7 etc. There is not a lot of experimenting when it comes to the ML 2. Most, if not all, powders are of the "stick" variety. Most that shoot with sabots, do so in the break action rifles Welcome to the forum!

It seems to be a little hot but I need to do more testing to be sure. It is actually a wafer powder. Thanks for welcoming me to the forums.

I use it for high velocity steel shot loads in 12ga and it seems really dirty. Do the higher pressures of your muzzleloader clean it up?
