I really want to go but it will be only a month after knee surgery so if it doesn't bother me too bad I may well be there. I will let buckeye68 know as time gets closer as I will probably ride along with him.

I just want to thank everyone that attended the first Hoosier Muzzleloader Classic in Wabash, Indiana. Also thanks to Pittman Bullets for all the targets we used during practice and everyone that donated money for the steel targets. We had 10 shooters from 3 different states, Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee. Everyone was shooting smokeless muzzleloaders. We had a mixture of guns ranging from hunting rifles to full blown bench rest rigs. The range had two sets of benches. The 100 yard benches were uncovered and the 200, 350,500 and 700 yard benches were all covered. During the Shooters meeting we decided to drop the 100 yard target and just shoot the other four targets. We also changed from 3 to 4 scoring shots per paper targets and from 5 to 6 scoring shots at 700 on steel. We had two relays with a 15 minute time limit per shooter. At the start of the shoot, the temp was already at 81 degrees with humidity at 77%. Wind was blowing 11 mph with some gusty winds. With the heat and humidity, mirage was going to be a factor to deal with but, it ended up being very manageable. Score board and a few pictures...... Attachments:
