No pics. My boy took a trip to the ER. He got a treble hook embedded in his fingers past the barbs. Ouch! I was at work and my wife called. Said there is a way to do it with fishing line and a strong stomach. But he is 10yo, so not wanting to add to the traumatic event, she took him in. He took two shots, and they pulled but not coming. So they had to make a cut at each barb to relieve them and finally got them to pop out. They said he did great, didnt even flinch, and most adults made bigger deals out of it. I'm with that crowd. Lol. So he just got an antibiotic and a shot of glue to cover them. Today he was showing them off to everybody. Kids!

Had it happen to me too many times to count. I hope the daughter never has to find out but am sure it will happen sooner or later. Get careless musky fishing and it happens. They will remove them for you also but it’s not preferred. Glad to hear it wasn’t traumatic.
