I really like mine. It’s a Big Tex gooseneck dump trailer with14,000 load rating. With it being a gooseneck, nobody has asked to borrow it.

This one is a 12 footer, 14k GVWR. I went round and round on the gooseneck thing. (In my mind.) My truck is already equipped with a turnover ball. Most of the time my truck has a cap on it. And for storing the trailer we use the gator to park it in the buildings. So, with those factors, as much as I would have liked a goose, bumper pull was most practical. This is my first trailer with torsion axles. And I must certainly say. Night and day difference over sprung axles. It just glides along behind the truck. I did go with the 12 instead of a 14 both for storing the trailer and because it's a bumper pull. For a 14 the gooseneck plays an even bigger factor into usability/loading. For a bumper pull, in my case, 12 foot was the way to go. And with it being 14k GVWR it's plenty enough for my usage. If I really need some tonnage moved, well I have my Class A, so I'll locate something much bigger for that job. Lol

I added two 2x10 on each side to haul more trash. I use mine every week for 10 months out of the year. So far it’s never let me down. Money will spent. I wish I would of got it sooner.

They're definitely quite useful. This is the second one I've owned. The first was a 6X10 deck over that was only 7k GVWR. Used that one for almost ten years. Sent it down the road, before I broke the axles or suspension.

Increasing the capacity by a couple yards. Now it'll hold a little more than 8.5 yards.

Anyone fed up with prices going up? Since I picked this trailer up at the end of February this year the price has increased slightly more than $2k! Same dealer, same exact trailer. Seems rather insane to me.... That kind of an increase in less than 8 months.
And I don't believe it is the dealer gouging anyone. They have always been fair in their pricing, and lower than any other place I had looked.

The raw materials prices have skyrocketed and they are just passing the cost onto the consumer. This is just the beginning.....wait till you pay $12 for a Big Mac meal at McNasty.

That is a lot of dirt in a day. It was 10 loads. At between 4 and 5 tons a load. I didn't have to go far with it.
