I was driving a back county road going to my brothers place this am. and saw what appeared to be a doe running up toward the road in front of me and behind it was 4 decent racked bucks. A few yrs. ago I saw a buck with a doe in Feb.

Could be a fawn from last spring coming into heat. I hear that happens, normally a good bit after the mature does. Or possibly a fawn in a late false heat.

What was strange to me was 4 bucks after the same doe. I have seen 2 but never more but late in the season I guess they all want some.

That is late! But I have read that bucks still got the juices flowing until their antlers drop when testosterone levels tank. Gotta stay warm one way or another. Lol
