New gun, big thanks to Richard and Hank. Rem UML action, H-S Precision stock, 26" Brux 45 Caliber #6 Barrel , Jewell trigger, HIS ignition. First trip to range 2-4" groups, WTH. Shot again with different bullet group grew to 5-6". Had this happen two weeks earlier, suspect bad scope. Changed scope and went back to range today. Clean barrel first group was 1.5" with the last two in the same hole. Next three shot group one hole, .637". Light load 10/45 of 4759/4198 under a 275 Parker BE. Again big thanks to Richard for the build and Hank with the needed parks. Got a titanium plate and nine screws in my shoulder so no elephant loads for me. Groups were 100 yards. Attachments:

I bought Richard’s former 700ML/26” Brux/Jewell trigger. I’ve shot it only about 100 times sabotless: 275AM/72 H4198 and 300 Aeromax /70 H-4198. No experimentation further . I only shoot 3-shot groups and have yet to shoot over 3/4 MOA @ 100 & 200 yards. All shooting is in agri fields, plastic, foldable table, but with good rests. Rarely wind flags/spinners. It has the smoothest feeling bolt I’ve ever felt. I’ve followed Richard’s proceedure and clean and lub the bolt every usage.
I’m currently using it to just see what is really possible to acheive in a really good 45 cal rifle with saboted shooting.
I really love this boringly accurate, heavy rifle.
