Don't let these suppliers rip you off. Everyone should call this company and give them a piece of your mind, and not a single cent more.

I won’t buy because I don’t need it. However, I would jump all over this one if I did. It is best price available and more importantly, it is available. Supply and demand drive the price. If we think otherwise, watch to see how long before they sell out. There are more people buying than what is available. Prices won’t come down until supply catches up with the demand. With almost all of us stocking more than we ever have before, that will be a while.

I paid $36.95 a pound to bring my supply back up to snuff for a few cartridges. I didnt like it and dont plan to buy any more at that price for awhile. Just gotta have a little restraint now and conserve what you got until this hopefully blows over. I am a hunter first anyway, so build a load or two, then a few shots a year besides hunting. Got lots of rim fire to satisfy the urge every now and then.

Powder companies say that they are making powder and are shipping as fast as they can? Powder valley,Natches,Midway,Midsouth,Brunos all the big box joints are out of stock no back order etc. If all this powder is being bought who in the hell is buying it? If I dont have a car to sell you then you cant buy it! This situation Has me fit to gestures all ready! I'll be damned if I gotta pay a devils ransom for powder and then a hasmat on top of it! I'll probably have to dig my smokers out I've got X pounds of that kickin around. Apologies gents needed to vent. hope this deal ends soon!

Seems like every Presidential election, threat of gun legislation and shooting tragedies trigger the buying and often hoarding of firearms, ammunition and loading components. Powder and primers need to be continuously stored in a climate controlled environment. Be careful where you by your supplies from. Bubba the hoarder / Bubba the gouger with a stockpile in his garage or storage container out back in the yard will gladly take your money on a day when it’s 25 degrees outside and snowing or when it’s 95 and dry as a popcorn fart. Ask yourself how much you really need then get it is my advice. Just be careful who you buy from.

Went across the river to Middlebourne, WV to Tyler gun shop this am. to see what he had. 45cal bullets 4 of 225ftx, 2 250xtp, 2 300xtp, 245 interlock, a few pounds of Reloader7, 2lbs. ea. of VV N110 and N120, no primers and none of the other popular sml powders. I have never tried Reloader7 sabotless and passed on it. I have no experience with N120 so I passed on it and already have N110. His prices were as normal for his store. VV powders were 42.99lb. He had other pistol powders and a few rifle powders like cfe some alliant and some accurate, and some other VV powders. Bullets almost nothing.

I am starting to revisit some loads with older powders from the past like 2015, 322, Re7 and a few others that I have on hand. Going to start using some 4759 and 4227 as boosters in my duplex's. Will go easier on the 4198, Benchmark, 8208 and 4895. Pretty good on primers and my buddy Bill has 5k Wolf LRMP's which he will sell me some since he is not shooting a lot of rifle cartridges that take large primers. Fortunately, about 2 months ago, before things got crazy, I got 4 lbs of H-4198.

I have 2 sml on the way, at this rate may be the 2022 season before I can shoot them. I do have about 1/2 a lb of both 4198 and h322 but that won’t go far. I do have alerts set to notify on restock. Have missed out on the last couple shipments.

I ran into 2# of Lilgun and one # of CFE BLK today, for $25 each. Pretty happy and fortunate to find it. The guy said that was the last of his powder stock, and everything is on back order.

I had a strong feeling that President Trump would face a contentious election and that guns/ammunition would become scarce. Knowing that I’d get Richard’s 45 and planing on another 40, 2 years ago (mid-term - the time to buy) , I stocked up on various powders, primers and some bullets (already had a lot). Mid-term seems best and hopefully will come back, some. This administration isn’t exactly “pro gun”. I think it’ll get better by summer. Quick Load helps come up with various loads using a variety of powders.

I would guess ammo mfgrs. have contracts with the powder companies and pretty much get what they want first and if they can't keep up then the powder companies can't either so everyone else gets the trickle that is left. Again just a guess.
