I bet it kicks like an ox mule when it goes bang! That is why they are all threaded for a brake straight from CVA although ive read the brake they offer is pretty poor quality. Guys have been shooting similar loads with heavier bullets in the Paramount 45 for over a year. Personally im more interested in the MR-X that is only rated at 2300fps. I know that is very doable with just 120grV of BH209 and i know just 70grV will get a 410gr lead conical out of the barrel at over 1450fps. Been there and done that many times in my 45s but i would really like a little lighter rifle to do it in and 40cal is legal here.
Its pretty easy to break .300 BC with a 40cal hunk of big soft lead. Ive seen 420s rated at over .400 BC so it has plenty of energy for me within 200 yards and damn cheap to shoot it too. Pretty much a 40-90 Sharps in a 7ish pound rifle.

They just posted reduced loads due to pressure today. 150grV is now max. 2740fps for the 40 cal.

I didn't read anything about pressure, just that accuracy dropped off at the 170gr load.

Youll have a bit more yardage than that to work with @1450 and bc over 400 !!! Doc White proved that with a 410 vs a 45 and a slower launch with 60gr less bullet weight . Youre definately right about the 7ish lbs being welcome though . Its gonna be 1 handy deadly rifle . High time the caliber is seen for what it is . I wish the twist was faster but IF it will stabilize a 240 to 250gr mz jacketed job at around 2350 to 2400 Many a muzzy will be "outclassed" . We both know that too .
