For a change of pace I made the Squatch and I some squirrel in the crock pot.
The deer season ended for me earlier this week here in Tn with my last 2 tags filled and while I'm still recovering from the China Plague I decided to take the little .22 out for an evening of busting noggins, in 3 hours I had my limit (10) and headed back home (all noggin shots).
The boy has been after me to fix him up some tree rat so I threw 5 in the crock pot with garlic salt, black pepper, Tony Chachere's, Italian seasoning and olive oil dribbled on top, about 8 ozs of water and cooked on Hi for 4 hrs, I then added potatoes, onions, carrots and celery on top, more pepper and seasonings and cooked for 2 more hours. It's good for the ole taste buds that are just now coming around from a week of not tasting anything!
pretty darn good for a change!
Will said we are going squirrel hunting tomorrow evening!

That surely had to be a fine meal. A very good day of hunting and shooting Bill. I am getting ready to head to my brother Dave's place a take a hike back into my climber. Hoping ole Bucky will show himself today.
