So first off it’s been a journey to having an awesome rig built but I picked up not one but two. One is a Remington 700 single shot with Hankins HIS ignition, Hankins 20MOA rail, in a Greyboe Terrain with the modified Sendero contour in .45. On top is a Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25 in 34mm with the precision vortex rings. This rifle was built by J.R. Shultz. Watching his work unfold into many magnificent specimens was truly amazing.
The second was a CVA Scout V2 in .45 converted to Hankins DIS with the complimentary Hankins CVA Rail. Should be an awesome short-middle long range hunting tool for many many years to come.
I will of course be shooting Pittman bullets. Kyle was awesome to deal with as well. The 700 conversion will be running 303 aeromax while I’ll be running the 278 accumax in the scout with wool wads for starters. Also have each gun it’s own sizing die so I don’t have to mess anything up.
I can’t wait to see what I can do with them! Thanks to everyone that’s had something I’ve read or seen on here. Thanks to JR, Kyle, and Jeff for the hard work to get awesome products!

Muzzleloading has been my favorite part of deer season for the past 11 years, worst part was cleaning my tc triumph which served me well. I’ve had my curiosity up since the early days of Jeff’s H&R conversions on YouTube , got tired of looking for a used one last year and found the forum......it’s addictive

Just a few shots with both on same target with 250 and 300 gr hornady without was just couldn’t wait to get the pittmans and had to go try it out, this was day two, little bit of learning curve to the bolt gun with priming and sizing was a little tricky, more soon

100 yards imr4198 and Pittman 278 accumax w/wool was sight in day with the scout v2 303 aeromax 4198 sight in and bullet sizing 100 yards So far they shoot much better than I can off the bags Wind picked up and swirled pretty hard, I believe I got the sizing right now, I’ll go back and shoot some three shot groups off a better bench soon
