I got a notification from ProBoards that the storage space has reached it limit again. We reached the free limit about 2 years ago and I purchased a plan that is billed to my CC each month. The cost of this plan is $6.00.
The next plan cost is $12.00 and if we want to keep all the pictures on the board, I will have to upgrade to the next service plan.
I am asking anyone that wants to make a one-time donation to help offset some of the cost to please let me know. I will create a thread, make it a sticky and post your name and donation amount.
I'm not asking for a lot and I don't want to get rich here,. I just thought that those who post a lot of pictures could pitch in a few dollars to help out.
Thanks in advance for your help.

My understanding was that when you post a picture via a "photo server", there is no storage space on our site being used?...It is on the servers site, such as photo bucket or any of the others? Correct me if I am wrong?

Correct me if I am wrong? You might be correct, if posting from some other host. I do not know. All I do know is we have exceeded our storage space twice now. This message board has grown a lot since we first started and we need more space. I will continue to pay for the storage, but thought their would be a few members that wouldn't mind chipping in a few dollars.

Its been mentioned before by one of our members (quite some time ago) that there is a way to circumvent using a host to post pictures............not sure exactly how to do it though?...........Possibly members who have this figured out are using that method not knowing the space limits of our site?

I usually click on BBCode and then paste that into my messages, does that use storage space? I like posting pics and will chip in if I'm using storage space.

Guys.... I appreciate this very much, although the donations are much larger than needed and a few dollars would be plenty.
You can send the funds to:
Jeff Hankins 4875 Lemon Northcutt Rd. Dry Ridge, KY. 41035
I will create the donation thread as soon as I get the first check and keep it updated..
Thanks you all very much.

Once I up the plan to the next larger one, I don't think we will have any more storage issues. I want everyone to be able to use the forum and post the pictures however it works for them...
