Well Had my best weekend in a long time in 1,000 competition. On Saturday I shot a 4.7 inch 10 shot group with a 98 score that was second smallest group of the day. In my same relay frank weber shot a 3.970 and also a 98 score. So he won group and I took score for the shoot off. We were both shooting 6mm Dashers. These are considered light guns at 17lbs or less. I came in second in the shoot off using my 300wsm and that shot a decent 6.7 inch 10 shot group.
Today was Heavy gun which means you can shoot anything you can haul to the bench. Usually half the shooters use there light gun for both matches. I built a heavy Dasher it weighs 65lbs its a pig to carry but boy is it fun to shoot and it is a real hammer. Today I shot a 4.5 inch group and a 96 score with 9 shots going into 3.040 inches that is getting right down to world record territory. My 4.5 was the smallest group shot today and I also won the shot off with this gun. shooting 6.5 inch group and a 72 score the wind was terrible it would blow you from on side of the paper to the other but the little Dasher still shot good mainly because you can rapid fire 10 shots in under 40 seconds. So conditions don't hit you.
