A Coworker wants me to mount a Pinty 4-16x50EG Scope on his POF AR15. The Crossbolts for the mount don't appear to be removable. The Rear Crossbolt is Higher that the Front & doesn't go through the Picatinny Rail Slot??? Is this correct? I know this is a Very Inexpensive Scope & wouldn't be my choice but I want to help the Guy out. I can't find any Info or Instructions on it. Any assistance would be Greatly Appreciated.

One thing that may work, if the crossbolts are press fit, you may be able to take a small hammer and tap them out. Then when you tighten up the nuts it should pull them back into place. Maybe that would make a difference??? hope you get this sorted out.

Thank You! The Rear Crossbolt is too High & doesn’t go through the picatinny slot (Poor Design). I ended up using Red Loctite & Torquing them to 35 inch lbs. Sad that the rear is only held by the friction clamp
