Not a Hogue but I have a rubberized stock and do not like it. On mine gun cleaning solvent have caused the bonded rubber to bubble and come off in spots. I have always cleaned off anything that was visible and it still happened. If I were you and looking to buy one I would look for a good used one on ebay or some other place that offers a discounted price. To me there is nothing better than a decent wood or composite stock.

Only ever used one on a muzzleloader build only because this is what the customer supplied. I had to beef up the barrel channel and because its a BLD stock it had more flex in it then I like to see but the gun shot well and he has killed several deer with it. There are better stock choices out there. Don't buy a new one there are always some used ones on Ebay.

Thanks for the replies guy's. I'm a bit limited because the barrel came from the factory with a camo paint job. I can get a Boyd's laminate painted olive green which I guess would look okay. Could get it bedded once I have it.
