At the polar bear in Feb, I was talking about having had carpal-cubital surgeries on both hands last year plus an Arthroscope on my right knee and plans to get the procedure on the left knee also. Hank said I'd be like the bionic-man. Well I'm going in tomorrow am. for the left knee scope and I probably will not come out as the $6,000,000. man, maybe about $5.99.

Back home and the clean-up of tears went well. I did not get the news I wanted but I may get 1-2 years out of this (maybe)? This knee is full of arthritis and the cartilage is paper thin in the load bearing areas. Doc says I will need a partial replacement whenever (I) decide to do it. He is a good ortho doctor and is the sports medicine doctor for the Wheeling Nailers hockey team, a straight to the point Christian doctor who prays for his patients before he begins his procedures. I am thankful to have been directed to him for these procedures.

Glad to here surgery went well. Sounds like your in the same boat I’m in. When the knees jet bad enough we’ll replace them for you. Had a severe tare of my ACL last spring and the doctor does not really want to fix it because I won’t need an ACL in a couple years when she replaces the knee. Got a fancy brace that allows me to do stairs and off road walking. It helps quite a bit. Still can’t do much sidehilling. I laughed at the doctor when she told me a brace would get me back doing at least 90% of activities and reduce the pain. It did both!

It is just sore/stiff not swollen like the right side was. I am going to give it a couple months and if It still feels like before I may go ahead with the partial replacement. Of course I will have to schedule it for healing time so I don't miss deer season.

There's too few of them to start with.
