Well I took a last ride with my old friend this morning and watched with sadness as the grappling hooks of the crane carried the old warhorse 93 Explorer to the top of the scrap pile. You served me well old friend you will be missed. Head gasket blew on the way home from Ky. Sat. night. The old beast made it 30mi. home from where it let go and I drove it 30mi. to the wrecking yard. Tough old son-of-a-gun.

Many of us have fond memories of a particular vehicle. It seemed to have served you well over the years.

Time for a later model Horse, been there myself many times over the years and about 1.5 million miles clocked. Some you grow fond of, some you can't wait to get rid of, sounds like you had a good one.

Y'all are too funny...
I just lost a Ranger... Understand letting go of an old friend.
When you want to blow the %$@#er to bits... You know you had a bad car (and I've got a list...). LOL
Dennis, I've had good luck with Ford vehicles. Glad to hear it served you well
