I took this fella Monday morning in NW Indiana. He came in chasing a doe, stopped and stood for about 5 min looking around. He finally took a couple steps and I ranged him at 33yds. Mouth bleated lightly to stop, and then let him have hit. The Shwacker opened him up, and he only went 60-70yds. Main frame 10 with split brow, so 11pt and 175# dressed.  |

Time to be in the woods. Now the big hosses are falling around us. Cant believe some of the bucks I am seeing going down recently.
Read somewhere that Nov 7 is the day more P&Y bucks have been harvested than any other.

I don’t doubt it a bit they are really moving around here saw a few out walking around mid day here today. I was out unlocking shooting houses and putting chair/ gun rests in them. Wish I would have been sitting in the stand with crossbow tonight but other things to priority. I’ll be waiting for one to make a mistake 9-17.
