I've shot Parker BE's, MH, along with Hornady SST/FTX 250 and 300's. I shot my antelope at 50 yards shooting the 325MH while he was completely facing me. Shooting around 2600fps and I know allot of people will disagree with me but Zen saw the hole going in and no home coming out. Didn't recover the bullet but the hole was huge, didn't think to look for bullet. All of the deer I shot were with 250 SST/FTX 150 yards - 240 yards broad side shots 2700-2800 fps complete pass threw shots. It's hard for me to justify a $2.50 bullet to the .50ยข SST/FTX when I can shoot then accurately out to 400 yards and they just plan kill as long as you do your part!
Good luck.

Look what I got today. 100 250GR TEZ's. Now if it would cool off maybe I could get outside and do some shooting. If these shoot half as good as the look I'm in business. Also picked up another lb. of 4759. No clays or any of the dot varieties to be found so I'll have to make do.
I want to compare these to the 250FTX's in my barrel.

Is that a raging bull? Is it ported? I had one and shot allot of deer with that bad boy! Every time I shot that thing I either turned allot of heads or they started walking away as quick as they could!

About six years ago I had a very unusual but good day using Barnes 250 grain TEZ, or I think they were TEZ. They had a little boat tail and they came in yellow "fitted" sabots. I was shooting across a 300 yard canyon so we knew the distance. I dropped 6 deer in their tracks shooting anywhere in the chest cavity. Some shots were a bit back for my taste but they still dropped. By the sixth deer two of my buddies were with me. They refused to shoot because of my success. They would just point out the deer. One of the last deer was stolen by some hard up hunters. We just said "you pack it out its yours". I love bragging about this story. I was shooting a stock Savage with 78 grains h-4198.
