Well match 10 is over here are final results.

Well I had my best year for 1,000 yard competition. Match 9 light gun was a total disaster that really cost me dearly in the final stands. I first blamed the Sightron scope but that simply was not the case the problem was the box of Sierra 107SMK bullets. I am running a .236 barrel and my gun will simply not shoot a bullet over .24325 in diameter the these new Sierra's were bigger than that I didn't take the time to measure them because they checked out so good every other way my fault when you shoot 1,000 yard matches you have to check everything..

So they break it down into 6 match agg and 10 match agg for light gun and heavy gun and then two gun over all group and score and then shooter of the year.  My best showing came in 6 match agg. for two gun score which gave me 5 th place out of a average of 90 shooters per match. Light gun score for 6 matches for 9th place.  Two gun 10 match agg for group I came in 7th I was in third till disaster struck last match. In two gun overall I came in 9th and in shooter of the year I placed 10th for light gun.

I shot a 6mm Dasher for most of the matches both my Dashers have Mullerworks barrels and they have been shooting really well. I also used my 300wsm it started off the year with a Krieger barrel but I switched to a Muller 5r barrel in several matches when the wind was really blowing but I have really not seen the 300 shoot any better in the wind than the 6mm so next year I plan on shooting just the Dashers.

One note I shoot a light gun which is 17lbs or less in both light and heavy gun so on Sundays I am competing against guns that weigh up to 100 lbs some even more some of those guys don't even aim once the gun is sighted they just feed the gun 10 rounds to me I don't think that is marksmanship but everyone likes to try something different. 

This puts me a really good position for next year all my barrels have a low round count and they are all shooting well so there won't be a mad dash in the spring to get something working like this year.
