Well today we held our light gun 1,000 yard match an conditions were good. I shot my 6mm Dasher again with the same load of H4895 and 103gr Vapor Trail bullets. I shot a 99 out of 100 score with number 5 being the odd bullet of the group. It also opened my group up to a 6.7 which was right in line with other shooters in the relay but besides my 99 there was another 99 shot and also a perfect score of 100 it doesn't get much better than that.
Tomorrow is our heavy gun match but I will be using the same 17lb gun almost half the shooters in heavy gun are using their light guns it just makes sense to build a good light gun and shoot it for two matches instead of building a heavy gun and only use it on a Sunday match.
So for know I am very happy with how H4895 is working in this cartridge.

Sunday match was tough it rained most of the match. light rain and no wind is a very good condition to shoot in unfortunately we had wind along with the rain. It wasn't all bad I shot a 98 out of 100 but another shooter had a 99. that's how it goes when competition is tight there were two groups shot today that were really small one was 3.335 inches for 10 shots and another was 3.8 inches the 3.335 was shot with a 6mm dasher the 3.8 was shot with a 300 WSM by Matt Kline the current heavy gun group record holder his record is 2.8 inches and a perfect score of 100 now that's shooting.
