What is the best way to remove the crimp from the primer pocket on military brass. My father in law has the RCBS swaging die set, but I was very impressed. I have been reading and some people just simply use a reamer and cut the crimp off. Is there any issues with that thanks

I use a reamer on a Hornady case prep center

Also, depending on how many cases I have and how much time I have I know a disabled shooter who peeps cases for money. I can get my cases SS tumbled, annealed, and reamed for 15 cents per.

Over 50 years ago I removed that from 30-06 cases with a hand tool. Had to be careful or could get primer leakage. Today more civilian brass available to me. I did get a reamer tool device later back then but have not used it in years but it worked well enough.
