Couple nice fish my boy caught from my buddies pond. He stocks different fish for fun and feeds them high protein fish food. He has a pond management business. These are hybrid striped bass. The smaller one was 19" and 4#, bigger was 22" 5.5#. They are pound for pound about the hardest pulling fish we have ever caught. These are golden rainbow trout. They have doubled in size from Oct till now. They will die by the 4th of July due to high water temp. He only stocks a certain number and then has an idea for a harvest amount. He let's us take all we need. These next couple pics are from a local pond he manages. How's this for a bluegill? Nice yellow perch. Surprise catch thru the ice. Smallmouth bass. I make my boy aware that fishing there is not the norm. He realizes it now because we don't catch fish like that anywhere else. This is basically a once in a lifetime gift getting to enjoy this paradise. We also get to hunt his place. It's only 10 acres, but its prime location. I have taken several deer and squirrels. We chip in and help with chores and work and anything we can do to show our gratitude and getting to enjoy it. I can't ever thank him enough for his generosity.

Nice fish. You have a great place to enjoy the sports and sounds like you are truly grateful for such an opportunity. Places and people that afford such are getting harder and harder to find.

Looks like some great fishing. The stripped bass hybrids look like a lot of fun.
