I don't know how many people have heard of these barrels They are produced by Dan Muller a highly respected engineer that did a lot of work and design for Rock Creek barrels an some others over 30 years in the barrel making business' he started his own business and designed his own rifling machines. He does all the final finish work on each barrel which I think is really important when your looking for that last little bit of accuracy.
They are sold through BugHoles Southern Precision priced the same as any other quality barrel. I bought two both in 6mm 1-7 3/4 twist both .236 bore I always used .237 bore barrels in the past but heard good things about his .236 barrels they are a cut rifled 4 groove barrel very straight and uniform from end to end. I chambered both for 6MM Dasher .266nk .135 FB for the 103gr Vapor trail bullets this throat will handle just about any bullet .
I spent a little time breaking the barrel in at 100 yards with temps in the 20"s and low 30's it just isn't time to test at 1,000 yards but after I got a few round down the barrel I tried two loads one with 33.2grs of Varget and a 450 primer an 33.4 grs testing was only done at 100 yards. first 5 shot group with 33.2grs produced a nice .190 group second 5 shot group with 33.4grs produced a really nice .121 inch group with a velocity of 3025 fps from a 30 inch barrel 33.4grs has been my accuracy load before it looks like it will be again. Second barrel shot also in the ones I don't like the stock this gun is in so I am making some changes both barrels shot small right from the start and clean up supper easy. So if your thinking about a new match barrel give one of these a try.
Now all I need is warmer weather to really do some long distance testing
