I'm a hunter,I started muzzleloading not long after starting deer hunting, when it was all black powder. Then Magnum inlines,Triple7,and BH209came out,and as there's no stadardization or regulatory body in muzzleloading, I ended up using up to 150 grains of BP subs in my "magnum 150" rifles at times and settle with the most accurate load depending on the distance that particular rifle is meant to be used for.
I'm interested in getting a smokeless ML built and since the builders know the load data and what works I would stick to what they say. I know about pressures, metals, hand loading, etc so I understand and know what can do what, and I'm not one of those naysayers that thinks they know everything and says a really hi-perf SML is "overbuilt"if it attains certain velocity. I say to each his own and id really like to learn more about nitro ml's.

Welcome, I have learned way more since joining this board, than I knew before, and am still learning. I would wager to say that everyone on this board is still learning as the sport progresses.

Welcome to the forum. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Everyone here is willing to share. You will not get any BS answers. Only what works and what does not or maybe a "not sure!" But usually somebody does.
