Looks like we will have several... Remember we will gather at the range at day break, socialize for a few and do a little set up, then the range will go hot and we will just shoot for fun. Our targets will mostly be steel gongs out to 444 yards and we will have plenty of 100 and 200 yard paper targets for those of you who need to sight in.
Also know that this is not a strictly muzzle loader shoot, you can bring your center fire rifles along as well. I will most likely have my 6mm and 338 Lapua Rogue. So if you got some fun guns and want to bring them, feel free to do so.
Food for the day will be the normal.... I'll have a big pot of bean soup and some corn bread for the main coarse, anything else you guys want to bring is welcome. Everyone bring their own drinks and warm clothes. We will have a fire in the barrel stove to keep warm by. Remember, the shoot goes on no matter the weather, cold rain, snow, sleet or hale,, we will be there.

I plan on attending as well. Great learning experience and good fellowship. Nothing I enjoy more than shooting the bull and shooting guns.

If the evergreen is full, look for a place in Georgetown, KY. 35 min or so from the range.

DE are you doing breakfast? I doubt there will be a breakfast fixed as this is a one day shoot. However, I will have a big pot of bean soup and corn bread ready to eat as soon as it is warmed up. Should be 9am or so. Anyone wanting to bring something to eat is more than welcome.

Deadeye spoils us at each and every Kentucky Challenge breakfast. The effort and expense that goes into this is often not realized. Although the Polar Bear shoot is scaled back from the Spring and Fall shoots, I’m sure no one will go hungry or turn away from the table. Look forward to seeing everyone soon!

You are right Kyle, anyone who serves up good food like that has spoiled the masses.
