Just a reminder for all you guys coming to Kentucky this weekend,,, prepare yourself for those blood sucking chiggers.... This is the time of year when they are at their most active. We will have the grass mowed around the shooting benches and eating area, but those little chiggers can still find a way to hide out until a walking host passes by.... Then they jump on you and start feasting,,,, so us guys at the shoot won't be the only ones stuffing ourselves....... My advise to you is to wear long pants, high top socks and a good boot of some kind, and also bring yourself some off to spray on you boots and pant bottoms,,, that will keep them at bay... Just for you guys that don't know what a chigger looks like,, they are blood read, real small but you can see them with the naked eye and the suck blood from their host. Mean little boogers. Now these little blood suckers don't get me very often, but I dress heavy, like mentioned above,,, so just be prepared and you won't have any problems.....

Spray myself down now like a Repel factory rep. Got another lite dose of Illinois chiggers while camping here at the local campground last fall....not nearly as bad as them Kentuckian beggers though....sheesh...got me itchin just talking about them. Richard what you got to say about them Kentucky chiggers....lpl Drop
