12pointdroptine turned me on to this tool at the spring challenge and I like it! This thing has to be the most accurate easy to use way to get your scope leveled.

It seems to work well.

I just used a friend's and found my scope to be canted about 2-3 degrees. Good tool to have.

I have used the bubble level on the action and on the turret top. I really never thought that was the most accurate. I have tried using a plumb bob and a string but how do you determine if your action is plumb? This maybe something for me to look into

The only true way to know if your scope is tracking perfectly vertical is to get it clamped in a vice after using one of the above methods to level your scope and put a vertical line on a board at distance and spin your elevation up to see if it is tracking true vertical, you might be surprised how much it is off. I level my pic rail first and go from there but that don't necessarily mean the action holes were drilled perfectly on center. Custom actions are generally spot on, others?
